Director of Consultant Relationships
Location: Remote
Full-time
About The Role
This role was created to strengthen 9amHealth’s presence in the benefits consulting and PBM
space. As we continue to expand, we need a dedicated Sales Executive to build and manage
high-value relationships with consultants and advisors who influence employer healthcare
decisions. This person will be the face of 9amHealth in this channel, ensuring our solution stays
top-of-mind and driving revenue through strategic partnerships.
What You’ll Do
Build and grow relationships with employee benefits consultants, pharmacy consultants, and other key influencers in the employer health ecosystem.
For this role, your targets aren’t employers directly (at least not primarily) — they’re influencers and gatekeepers in the employer healthcare decision-making chain.
So in plain English: they’re selling 9am Health by winning over the advisors who steer employer healthcare dollars. Land the consultants → consultants recommend you → employers adopt.
Secure commercial agreements and formal partnerships with consulting firms and their
client networks.
Attend and host social and office events to deepen relationships and increase awareness of 9amHealth.
Maintain an active presence in industry networks and engage with national pharmacy teams.
Keep vendor profiles current and optimized across consultant and broker platforms.
Identify mutually beneficial incentive structures and co-marketing opportunities.
Collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams to deliver materials, proposals, and case studies that support consultant engagement.
Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and client needs to inform strategy and opportunities.
What You’ll Need
A relationship-driven B2B sales professional with 7+ years of experience, ideally in digital health, PBMs, benefits, or healthcare services.
Proven success selling to or through consultants, brokers, or advisors.
Exceptional networking skills and comfort connecting with stakeholders at all levels in both formal and social settings.
Self-starter mentality with the discipline to manage and grow your own pipeline.
Comfortable traveling to partner offices, industry events, and conferences as needed.
