Legora is redefining how legal work gets done. Not built for lawyers, built with them. We work alongside the world’s best legal teams, who expect excellence, precision, and speed, and we hold ourselves to the same bar.
Our AI-native workspace lets legal professionals move faster, think more clearly, and operate with sharper precision. By analysing thousands of documents in minutes and powering end-to-end workflows, we cut through complexity, teams can focus on what matters: judgment, strategy, and outcomes.
1,000+ customers across 50+ countries trust us, including Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, White & Case, Dentons, and Barclays. We’ve scaled to $100M+ in ARR, with teams across Europe, North America and APAC, and continue to expand through acquisitions including Qura, Walter AI and Graceview.
We partner with world-class performers: including Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees, Ludvig Åberg (and his caddie), and campaigns featuring Jude Law.
Joining Legora means three things.
We lean in: ownership over titles, outcomes over intentions.
We fight for excellence: high standards, direct, ego-free feedback.
We grow together: as a team and with our customers.
Mission before ego. Everyone contributes. No one coasts.
If you’re driven by impact, pace, and raising the bar. This is the place.
The role
As Total Rewards Manager, you will lead Legora's compensation architecture and equity programs — the two pillars that most directly shape how we attract and retain exceptional talent at every level of the company.
Reporting into the VP of Total Rewards, you'll be the lead on compensation banding, equity administration, and the frameworks that ensure every compensation decision is principled, competitive, and fair. This is a builder's role: you'll be translating our reward strategy into systems that scale with us as we continue to grow across markets.
What you will do
Define and maintain compensation bands across Legora's job architecture, ensuring levels are consistently applied and market-aligned across functions and geographies.
Lead the annual compensation review cycle end-to-end: benchmarking, calibration, offer modelling, and manager communication.
Be Legora's people-side expert on equity — deeply understanding our equity programs, employee participation, vesting cycles, and how equity connects to performance and total reward.
Implement and evolve our compensation frameworks and total reward practices in line with the global strategy, ensuring they remain competitive, equitable, and transparent.
Conduct ongoing market benchmarking across all markets, using data to ensure Legora stays ahead of the curve.
Partner with Finance on compensation planning, equity modelling, and reward analytics.
Collaborate with Legal to ensure compliance in compensation and equity practices across all jurisdictions.
Build clear toolkits, templates, and policies that make reward decisions scalable and consistent across the organization.
Educate and enable managers and employees to understand, articulate, and trust our reward philosophy.
Who you are
You think in systems. You love the intersection of data, structure, and people — and you get energised by building things that make complex decisions feel simple and fair.
We think you'll thrive here if you have:
7+ years in compensation, total rewards — ideally in a high-growth tech or scale-up environment.
Strong expertise in compensation banding and benchmarking.
Solid understanding of equity programs: plan structures, grant cycles, vesting, and how equity fits into the broader total reward picture.
Strong analytical skills — you're comfortable turning data into insights and insights into decisions.
A track record of partnering effectively with Finance and Legal.
Excellent communication skills: you can translate complex reward topics into clear, confident language for any audience.
Why Legora
This is a rare opportunity to shape the reward architecture of a company with serious global momentum. You'll have real influence over how we build fairly and competitively — and your work will be felt by every employee at Legora.
We have strong product-market fit, a team that values clarity and impact, and the ambition to set a new standard in the legal industry. We're just getting started.
