As a Member of the Creative Studio, the successful candidate will be responsible for owning the design of Perplexity's marketing and landing pages, ensuring that every page shipped looks and feels like it belongs to one of the most exciting AI products in the world. The role involves creating and owning the design side of the company's Content Management System (CMS), allowing other teams to create on-brand pages without requiring a designer's input every time. The Web Designer will report into the Brand/Creative Studio team and work closely with various departments, including Growth, Product Marketing, Brand, and front-end engineers. Key responsibilities include owning the design of marketing pages, landing pages, and growth surfaces end-to-end, creating and owning the CMS design system, and partnering with Growth and Product Marketing to translate business goals into compelling page designs.
The successful candidate will also collaborate with the Brand team to maintain visual consistency across every web touchpoint and work directly with front-end engineers to ship pages quickly and at a high quality bar. A strong point of view on layout, typography, and motion is essential for this role.
