Like every team at OpenAI, the Marketing team contributes directly to our mission of responsible and widespread AI adoption.
The EMEA B2B Marketing team is responsible for translating global priorities into regionally relevant programs that drive awareness, pipeline, and customer adoption across the region. Partner marketing sits at the center of how we scale through the ecosystem, in close partnership with the Partnerships org, GTM, regional leadership, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, and technical teams.
About the Role
As a member of the EMEA B2B Marketing team focused on partner marketing, you will build how OpenAI goes to market with our most strategic partners across the region.
This role sits at the intersection of ecosystem strategy, senior executive engagement, and hands-on GTM execution. You will shape joint marketing strategy and build the operating model for partner marketing across EMEA, working with priority partners including AWS, Accenture, BCG, McKinsey, and a broader set of technical deployment partners across cloud, data, and implementation ecosystems.
This is a highly strategic builder role for a true T-shaped leader: someone who can set direction, create tiered partner plans, build playbooks and rhythms from scratch, and also execute directly. You should be equally comfortable leading a joint business-planning conversation with a senior partner executive, building a regional partner campaign plan, shaping a co-hosted executive moment, drafting the narrative yourself, and unblocking day-to-day execution.
This role is based in London. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week.
In this role, you will:
Own and build the EMEA B2B partner marketing strategy in close partnership with regional and global stakeholders.
Develop joint go-to-market plans with priority partners across hyperscalers, global consultancies, GSIs, regional systems integrators, specialist boutiques, and technical deployment partners.
Translate partner strategy, regional GTM priorities, and market opportunities into focused plans with measurable business outcomes.
Build the operating model for partner marketing across EMEA, including planning rhythms, playbooks, governance, and measurement.
Partner with alliance, sales, and marketing leaders to create executive-ready narratives, events, campaigns, content, and enablement moments with partners.
Manage and prioritise partner marketing investment and co-marketing resources based on partner commitment, pipeline potential, customer impact, and measurable return.
Help OpenAI show up consistently across different partner types while adapting the motion to local market conditions and partner-specific goals.
Use AI-native tools and workflows to improve output, speed, and quality.
You might thrive in this role if you:
Have 12+ years of experience in partner marketing, alliances marketing, ecosystem GTM, strategic partnerships, or closely related roles in enterprise technology, cloud, AI, or SaaS.
Have proven experience building partner marketing or ecosystem programs with major strategic partners.
Have strong executive presence and experience working with senior partner stakeholders, alliance leaders, and internal GTM executives.
Can build systems, planning cadences, and repeatable playbooks from scratch.
Are both strategic and hands-on, with a track record of personally driving plans from idea to execution.
Understand how partner marketing influences awareness, pipeline creation, deal acceleration, customer adoption, and long-term ecosystem value.
Have experience working across EMEA markets and navigating different partner motions, sales structures, and local nuances.
Are comfortable operating cross-functionally with Partnerships, Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Comms, technical teams, and regional leadership.
Are comfortable spending meaningful time with partners, customers, and OpenAI field teams across EMEA, including regular regional travel
French or German proficiency is a big bonus.
