About the project
As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a Senior Campaign Operations Specialist to our team. If you are passionate about marketing operations and thrive on building, testing, and deploying lifecycle email campaigns with precision and operational discipline, this is a great opportunity for you.
This role sits within the Digital Activation & Lifecycle Orchestration portfolio and owns the operational quality bar from intake through send. You will be the hands-on Marketo expert supporting Strategists and Integrated Marketing partners on programs that span buying group motions and flagship events — configuring programs, managing audiences, setting up dynamic content, and ensuring every deployment meets SLA and quality standards.
This is a detail-oriented, execution-focused role where operational rigor, platform fluency, and cross-functional collaboration are as important as technical skill.
What you’ll do
- Build, test, and deploy lifecycle email campaigns in Marketo Engage per stakeholder briefs and SLA timelines.
- Configure programs, smart lists, audiences, tokens, and assets within the team’s Marketo program and folder architecture, maintaining naming and tagging conventions.
- Execute rendering QA, link validation, content checks, and pre-send approvals across devices and email clients using Litmus, Email on Acid, or comparable tooling.
- Pull audiences from Marketo or Adobe Experience Platform / Real-Time CDP, set up segmentation and suppression logic, and maintain data hygiene for each deployment.
- Set up dynamic content, triggered program flows, and A/B test splits designed by Strategists.
- Troubleshoot deliverability issues, platform errors, and stakeholder escalations through to resolution.
- Maintain operational runbooks, template library, and intake documentation for the team.
- Pull post-send reports and surface anomalies in open rates, click rates, bounces, and unsubscribes.
- Support human-in-the-loop approval gates on agentic builds, applying QA at each gate.
- Work across teams to deploy Marketo landing pages or coordinate page creation via AEM.
What makes you a great fit
- 5+ years of experience in B2B email marketing operations, marketing automation, or campaign execution.
- Deep hands-on experience deploying programs in Marketo Engage — fluent in program and folder architecture, smart lists, audience selection, dynamic content, templates, triggered sends, and program tokens.
- Cross-client and cross-device rendering testing using Litmus, Email on Acid, or comparable tooling.
- Strong audience and list management skills: smart lists, segmentation logic, suppression rules, exclusion lists, and data hygiene practices for B2B sends.
- Working knowledge of deliverability fundamentals: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, bounce and complaint management, sender reputation monitoring, and inbox placement triage.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS sufficient to edit templates, troubleshoot rendering issues, and apply inline style fixes.
- Practical use of AI-assisted production tooling and human-in-the-loop approval workflows on agentic builds.
- Compliance fluency: CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Business-level English proficiency.
