The role
As a Business Development Representative, you will think like an account-based marketer. You'll design and run the strategy to attract new opportunities and relevant connections for Nortal, with a clear target of opportunities detected each period.
You'll spend as much time designing and testing ABM plays as you do on outreach, and you'll own the results from first touch to handoff to our new business team..
Your day-to-day:
Design the attraction strategy
- Design and execute the strategy to attract new opportunities and build relevant connections for Nortal in the US.
- Build and maintain a tiered target account list (one-to-one, one-to-few, one-to-many) with sales leadership.
- Research each priority account: business priorities, tech stack, recent triggers such as funding, leadership changes, or modernization programs, and the buying committee.
Run ABM campaigns that convert
- Turn account research into campaign concepts with a clear message, offer, and call to action for each person.
- Write the copy and launch the campaign: email sequences, LinkedIn content, landing pages, direct mail, and event invitations.
- Coordinate plays across email, LinkedIn, paid social, intent-based advertising, webinars, and events, so sales and marketing hit each account with one story.
Generate and qualify opportunities
- Hit your target of opportunities detected and qualified.
- Prospect into VP, C-level, and senior IT and digital leaders at mid-market and enterprise companies.
- Book discovery meetings, qualify them against our criteria, and hand them over with full context.
- Keep the CRM clean so anyone can see where every account stands.
Test and Challenge
- Try new channels, messages, and formats, and challenge the way we do things today.
- Run A/B tests on messages, offers, and channels, and report what worked and what didn't.
- Share what you learn so the next play starts smarter.
What we're looking for
- 3+ Years in business development, SDR/BDR, or demand generation roles, with at least two in IT services, software engineering services, or digital consulting.
- Strong, hands-on experience designing and running ABM campaigns. You can walk us through one you built, the accounts it targeted, and what it produced.
- A track record of booking meetings with senior buyers at US enterprises.
- A test-and-learn mindset: you try new things, question what isn't working, and bring ideas backed by data.
- Enough technical fluency to talk credibly about cloud, data, AI, software development, and nearshore delivery.
- Comfort with numbers: you track your funnel, know your conversion rates, and change course when the data says so.
- Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
How the process works
- Apply and upload your resume.
- We review your profile and add it to our talent database.
- We reach out for an interview to learn about your experience and share more about what we're looking for.
- When a role opens that fits, we contact you to start the process. Because we already know you, it moves faster.
- No intermediaries. You deal with us directly.
