The Lead Solutions Engineer is a senior member of the Presales organization, partnering with Account Executives and Solutions Consultants to support complex and strategic sales opportunities. The role focuses on understanding customer requirements and bringing Syndigo solutions to life through tailored, value-focused demonstrations, compelling storytelling, and technical discussions.
The Lead Solutions Engineer brings strong product and technical knowledge across Product Information Management (PIM), Master Data Management (MDM), Product Experience Management (PXM), Syndication, data governance, enterprise integration, and digital commerce. The role leads product demonstrations, technical workshops, and solution discussions, using storytelling to connect Syndigo’s capabilities to customer challenges, business value, and desired outcomes.
Success in this role requires strong presentation and storytelling skills, technical expertise, and the ability to translate customer requirements into relevant demonstrations and use cases. Experience across Manufacturing, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, and Wholesale Distribution is important for understanding customer challenges and tailoring demonstrations to their business needs.
The Lead Solutions Engineer works closely with Sales, Solutions Consultants, Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Partners. As a subject matter expert, the role leads complex, high-impact opportunities with broad discretion, applying deep product and technical expertise to address customer requirements and drive successful sales outcomes.
HOW WE’LL BE WINNING TOGETHER DAY TO DAY
- Design and deliver tailored, value-driven demonstrations of Syndigo solutions that connect customer requirements to business outcomes.
- Understand customer requirements, data challenges, integration needs, and technology landscapes to determine the appropriate technical and demonstration approach.
- Lead technical discussions across PIM, MDM, PXM, Syndication, data governance, and digital commerce.
- Guide conversations around APIs, enterprise integrations, data flows, and system interactions, helping customers understand how Syndigo fits within their technology ecosystem.
- Partner with Account Executives and Solutions Consultants on complex opportunities, including demonstrations, workshops, technical evaluations, and RFPs/RFIs.
- Serve as a senior technical resource for complex, high-impact opportunities and provide guidance to the broader Presales organization.
- Work with Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Partners to validate complex use cases and support strategic opportunities.
WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU
- 8+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Presales, Solutions Consulting, or a related customer-facing technical role.
- Experience with PIM, MDM, PXM, Syndication, or related enterprise data management solutions.
- Experience leading complex enterprise demonstrations, technical discovery, workshops, and solution discussions.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, enterprise integrations, and cloud-based technologies.
- Experience supporting enterprise customers across Manufacturing, CPG, Retail, and/or Wholesale Distribution.
- Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS technologies, APIs, integrations, cloud technologies, and enterprise data management.
- Strong knowledge of PIM, MDM, PXM, Syndication, data governance, and related enterprise data management capabilities.
- Proven ability to deliver compelling demonstrations and technical presentations to business and technical audiences.
- Experience with Manufacturing, CPG, Retail, and/or Wholesale Distribution and an understanding of their business processes and data challenges.
- Ability to understand complex customer requirements and translate them into relevant solution approaches and demonstrations.
- Ability to independently lead complex, high-impact technical engagements and serve as a subject matter expert within the Presales organization.
Your individual compensation within the budgeted salary range is determined based on your skills, education, experience, and internal equity. This position is commission-eligible.
