About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Junior Business Travel Consultant to join our Sydney team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about travel and delivering exceptional service. You will support a portfolio of corporate clients by coordinating business travel arrangements, providing tailored travel solutions, and ensuring a seamless travel experience while adhering to client travel policies and service level agreements.
This role will be based out of R&M’s office based in Sydney, hours of operation are from 8am – 8pm, on a shift rotation.
What You'll Do
- Book flights, accommodation, and ground transportation for domestic and international business travel.
- Manage travel requests for a portfolio of corporate clients, delivering a high level of personalised service.
- Prepare travel quotations and ensure all bookings comply with client travel policies and guidelines.
- Support Senior Consultants with travel booking requests and itinerary management.
- Provide proactive, cost-effective travel solutions using all available booking resources and tools.
- Ensure Duty of Care obligations are met when creating travel itineraries for travellers.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client enquiries via phone and email, consistently exceeding service expectations.
- Meet internal and client-driven service level agreements while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

- Experience within the travel industry or knowledge of corporate travel.
- Familiarity with GDS systems would be beneficial, particularly Sabre (full training provided).
- Understanding of corporate client requirements.
- Passion for travel and the travel management industry.
