The key responsibilities of this role include owning the roadmap and technical strategy for agent-driven cloud infrastructure management, designing and operating Perplexity's cloud networking fabric, and architecting and scaling compute platforms to efficiently serve online request traffic and background workloads across regions. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for building and maintaining secure, isolated deployment topologies for multi-tenant, single-tenant, and customer-owned cloud environments, as well as implementing and evolving multi-region strategies for availability, failover, and data locality. Additionally, the candidate will partner with security teams to ensure the highest levels of security and compliance.
