Role Overview
This role owns Harvey’s owned global events strategy, which to date, includes Harvey’s conference series “FORUM”. FORUM convenes leaders from across the legal profession to explore how AI, new operating models, and shifting talent dynamics are reshaping how legal teams work. You will define what FORUM is, where it goes, and how it delivers against Harvey's brand and go-to-market goals, building the team, systems, and partnerships required to scale FORUM into a globally recognized program.
The role sits at the intersection of brand, GTM, and executive engagement, ensuring FORUM is a high-quality moment for customers, prospects, and the broader legal community, and a meaningful driver of sales acceleration. Success in this role comes from strong team leadership, sharp programming instincts, executive presence, and the ability to build and develop a high-performing team while operating in a fast-moving environment.
What You'll Do
Own the FORUM strategy end to end: vision, positioning, geographic footprint, format, and the multi-year roadmap for how the program scales.
Build, manage, and develop the FORUM team across production, content and programming, and marketing and enablement.
Partner with Brand and Product Marketing to ensure FORUM amplifies brand campaigns and key product launches.
Own the content, programming, and creative bar for FORUM, including themes, session formats, speaker lineup, editorial narrative, and overall experiential design, ensuring every edition reflects Harvey's brand at the highest level.
Own the invite and registration strategy: the target audience mix, invite lists, RSVP funnel, and the customer/prospect journey from save-the-date through post-event.
Own how FORUM drives sales acceleration and GTM enablement, partnering with Sales, Customer Success, and Demand Gen to bring the right accounts into the room, engineer pipeline moments into the program, brief and equip the field, and ensure disciplined follow-through.
Design the end-to-end attendee experience, from invitation through arrival, programming, hospitality, and post-event follow-up, ensuring every touchpoint delights attendees.
Own FORUM's partner strategy: identify and cultivate the ecosystem partners and collaborators who elevate the program.
Serve as the executive-facing leader for FORUM, partnering directly with the CEO, CMO, and GTM leadership to shape the vision, secure executive engagement, and communicate progress, tradeoffs, and results throughout the year.
Own the FORUM P&L, including budget planning, allocation, and ongoing visibility into ROI.
Work with the Event Production Lead to shape agency and vendor strategy at the program level, including RFP processes for events, production, and creative partners.
Build the systems, documentation, and playbooks that drive rigor and allow FORUM to scale globally without losing quality, from project plans and work breakdown structures to run-of-show and post-event debriefs.
