About the Team

OpenAI’s mission is to build safe artificial general intelligence (AGI) that benefits all of humanity. This long-term undertaking brings together the world’s best scientists, engineers, and business professionals to create transformative AI systems and products.

The Go-To-Market (GTM) Partnerships team builds and scales OpenAI’s strategic partner ecosystem, enabling customers, accelerating adoption, and driving growth in support of our mission. We work closely across Sales, Product, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Business Systems to create seamless experiences for both partners and internal teams.

About the Role

As part of the Partner Strategy, Operations & Programs team, the Partner Experience Lead will help design and scale the operating model that enables OpenAI’s partner ecosystem to grow effectively. This role sits at the intersection of partner experience, GTM operations, systems, enablement, and business performance.

You will focus on making it easier for partners to build, co-sell, and deploy with OpenAI by improving the processes, platforms, workflows, and engagement models that support the partner journey. You will work across Partnerships, Operations, IT, Product, Legal, Marketing, Sales, Enablement, Finance, and Support to create a more seamless experience for partners and stronger operating leverage for internal teams.

This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who combines partner empathy, systems thinking, operational rigor, analytical depth, and strong execution judgment. The ideal candidate is comfortable moving between strategy and execution, bringing structure to ambiguity, and using technology, including OpenAI’s own tools, to improve how partner ecosystems scale.

In this role you will:

Partner Experience & Operations

  • Design and improve partner journeys across onboarding, activation, co-selling, deployment, support, and growth.

  • Build scalable processes, workflows, forums, and operating cadences that reduce friction for partners and internal teams.

  • Partner with Enablement to deliver timely guidance and resources that help partners understand how to do business with OpenAI.

  • Improve partner support paths, escalation processes, incentive experiences, and benefit access in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Systems, Tooling & Automation

  • Partner with Operations, IT, and Business Systems to improve the partner-facing technology stack and digital experience.

  • Identify opportunities to use OpenAI agents and automation to simplify partner workflows, unblock common issues, and accelerate time-to-value.

  • Help create self-service GTM tools and workflows that enable partners to build, co-sell, deploy, and support customer adoption more independently.

Insights & Business Performance

  • Use partner feedback and data to identify opportunities to improve partner engagement, performance, and ecosystem health.

  • Define and track metrics across partner experience, activation, engagement, portal utilization, business impact, and operational efficiency.

  • Support reporting, planning, forecasting, attribution, and performance management efforts in partnership with Operations, Finance, Data, and Sales.

  • Build dashboards, operating reviews, and inspection mechanisms that help leadership understand partner progress, risks, and opportunities.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Establish Voice of the Partner mechanisms, including surveys, feedback loops, and advisory forums.

  • Work with Product, Legal, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Support to ensure partner needs are reflected in launches, programs, and company initiatives.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve how OpenAI engages, enables, and scales its partner ecosystem.

You might thrive in this role if you have:

  • 10+ years of experience in Partner Operations, GTM Strategy & Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Partner Programs, or related roles within high-growth technology companies.

  • Experience designing and scaling partner journeys, partner programs, operating models, or ecosystem motions across onboarding, enablement, co-selling, deployment, support, and growth.

  • Strong systems thinking and operational judgment, with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into scalable processes, workflows, tools, and governance models.

  • Experience working with CRM, PRM, partner portals, business systems, reporting tools, or other GTM technology platforms.

  • Strong analytical skills, including experience defining KPIs, building reporting mechanisms, interpreting performance data, and using insights to improve business outcomes.

  • Familiarity with forecasting, planning, attribution, or performance management processes in a GTM or partner ecosystem context.

  • Experience using technology and automation to simplify workflows, improve user experiences, and create operating leverage.

  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence Sales, Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Enablement, Support, and technical teams.

  • Strong communication skills and comfort operating with senior stakeholders in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

  • A builder mentality, with the ability to move fluidly between strategy and execution while improving how teams and partners operate at scale.

What this role will accomplish

Increase Operating Leverage Through Systems and Automation

  • Partner with Operations, IT, Business Systems, Enablement, and Support to improve partner-facing tools and digital experiences.

  • Identify opportunities to use OpenAI agents and automation to simplify workflows, unblock common issues, and accelerate time-to-value.

  • Build more self-service experiences that help partners and internal teams move faster with greater clarity.

Strengthen Partner Insights and Business Performance

  • Define and refine metrics that help the organization understand partner health, engagement, performance, and business impact.

  • Improve reporting and operating cadences that give leadership visibility into partner progress, risks, and opportunities.

  • Operate with significant visibility across senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Dica do Especialista

1. A Primeira Impressão e o Efeito Estética-Usabilidade
