About the project
We build and run Adobe Experience Cloud implementations for enterprise clients, and we need someone senior to own that work end to end. Not to configure what someone else designed. To sit with the client, define the data layer, model the schemas, and stay through validation and handover.
If you already know your way around Adobe Analytics and Data Collection and you have started building on Experience Platform, this is a role where that combination is the whole point rather than a footnote on your profile.
What you’ll do
- Lead end-to-end Adobe Analytics implementations for web, from discovery and solution design through deployment, validation, and handover.
- Partner with development teams to define, document, and govern the data layer (Adobe Client Data Layer, W3C, or custom JSON structures) for web.
- Implement and manage tagging through Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection (Tags / Launch), and web data collection using the AEP Web SDK (alloy.js) and/or AppMeasurement, including migrations from legacy libraries.
- Design and develop Adobe Experience Platform solutions: XDM schemas, datasets, identities, and Real-time Customer Profile configurations, ensuring data quality, governance, and scalability.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries using AEP Query Service for data analysis, segmentation, and validation.
- Own and manage AEP APIs and integrations with upstream and downstream systems, using JavaScript and Python to build robust data pipelines.
- Implement and support Adobe Target: Data Collection implementation (Web SDK or at.js), audience integration from AEP and Analytics, and Analytics for Target (A4T) reporting.
- Configure Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) connections and data views, and build Analysis Workspace reporting that combines web, mobile, and offline data.
- Validate and debug implementations using the Adobe Experience Platform Debugger, Adobe Assurance, browser developer tools, and network calls.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver scalable solutions on schedule.
- Mentor developers and junior team members on tagging patterns, data layer standards, and AEP platform and data governance best practices, leading code reviews across the team.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement).
What makes you a great fit 🎯
- 4+ years of experience in digital analytics, data engineering, or software engineering roles.
- 3+ years of experience with JavaScript for data layer development, tagging, and tag management integrations.
- 3+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection (Tags / Launch), the AEP Web SDK (alloy.js), and/or AppMeasurement, including data layer definition in collaboration with development teams.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) solutions: schemas, datasets, Query Service, APIs, and Real-time Customer Profile.
- Strong knowledge of report suite administration (processing rules, eVars, props, events, classifications) and of data modeling, schema design, and data governance principles.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Business-level English proficiency.
