About the role

In this role, you'll be the go-to person for a wide range of HR activities, including HR administration, recruitment, learning & development, and backup payroll support. You'll help ensure smooth HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle while contributing to HR projects, digitalization initiatives, and continuous process improvements.

The responsibilities
- Guarantee compliance with Belgian social legislation and tax regulations.
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding all sorts of people related questions and soft HR topics.
- Support the performance review Cycle.
- Manage HR administration focusing on contracts, healthy strategic balances, accurate financial data, etc.
- Take the lead in our L&D framework: developing learning paths and support defining our learning strategy.
- Support with onboarding/offboarding, absences, benefits, insurance etc.
- Act as backup for our hard HR expert, including acting as back up for our international payroll.
- Lead Recruitment of supporting roles (finance, IT, PMO,...) and act as backup for technical roles.
- Handle the necessary reporting to both global company levels and internal reporting.
- Work closely with HR colleagues and the business to optimize workflows and HR services.
Your background
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a HR generalist role
- Strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation.
- Experience in a scale-up or SME is considered a big plus.
- Comfortable with international and changing work environments.
- Familiarity with HR systems and automation, knowledge of Hibob is a plus.
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English is a must.
- Expert people skills, open minded and works in a structured way

You’ll join a team of 5 HR/Comms colleagues working together across different HR domains. The team supports around 200 employees and consultants in Belgium, while also collaborating within a larger international group structure and supporting other European entities.
