80 ptsFrom Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
Field operations is where strategy meets execution at Fivetran + dbt Labs. This senior role sits at the heart of how our EMEA go-to-market engine is planned, measured, and improved, partnering directly with regional sales leadership to shape where we play, how we allocate capacity, and how we turn pipeline into revenue. You will own the operating cadence that keeps the region on plan and the analysis that turns performance data into the decisions leadership acts on.
This is a role for someone who wants to shape how a high-growth business is run, not just report on it. You will operate with real autonomy: bringing rigour to how we plan, sharpening the weekly rhythm of the business, and building the processes that let EMEA scale. If you think commercially, act like an owner, and want a seat close to where the decisions get made, this is for you.
This is a full-time position based out of our Dublin office. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.
Technologies You’ll Use
Clari, Salesforce, Omni (or similar BI tools such as Looker or Tableau), SQL/SOQL, advanced spreadsheet modelling (Excel, Google Sheets), Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and other market leading ai tools
What You’ll Do
Strategy and go-to-market planning
- Contribute to and, over time, own core GTM planning cycles across quota setting, territory design, and financial / capacity planning, in partnership with sales leadership and finance.
- Translate top-down targets into workable, bottoms-up plans that reps and managers trust.
Business reviews and insight
- Prepare and drive QBRs and other business reviews, turning data into a clear narrative of what’s working, what isn’t, and what to do next.
- Go beyond reporting: surface the “so what” and translate insight into concrete, owned actions.
Running the day-to-day
- Lead the weekly operating rhythm: forecast calls, pipeline reviews, and inspection of deal health and hygiene.
- Keep the leadership team on top of the number with accurate, timely, decision-ready analysis.
Process and systems
- Improve the machine, not just run it. Build scalable, repeatable processes where none exist and remove manual, error-prone work.
- Act as a power user of our core stack (Salesforce and Omni) and raise the bar on data quality and pipeline hygiene across the region.
- Put AI to work in the operation: find practical ways to automate analysis, accelerate reporting, and sharpen decision-making, and help the wider team adopt what works.
Skills We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a sales, revenue, or field operations role in a high-growth B2B SaaS or technology business, with comfort building the first version of something where no process exists in a fast-moving environment.
- Hands-on command of GTM planning components (quota, territory, and financial / capacity planning), even if you haven’t yet owned all three end-to-end.
- Strong analytical toolkit: advanced spreadsheet modelling, fluency in a BI tool (Omni, Looker, Tableau or similar), and comfort working directly in a CRM (Salesforce). SQL is a strong plus.
- A track record of turning data into insight into action: you tell the story, not just build the report
- Genuine commercial and SaaS acumen: pipeline coverage, conversion and win rates, forecasting, ARR and retention are second nature
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders without authority: you can move sales leaders, finance and marketing and other cross functional partners without managing any of them.
- A clear point of view on the role AI can play in a modern GTM engine, backed by practical examples of how you have already built skills and applied it to your own work, not just theory
Bonus Skills
- SQL/SOQL and experience working with a modern data stack (dbt itself a plus).
- Experience supporting a multi-country EMEA region across markets and segments.
Perks and Benefits
- 100% employer-paid medical insurance*
- Generous paid time-off policy (PTO), plus paid sick time, inclusive parental leave policy, holidays, and volunteer days off
- RSU stock grants*
- Professional development and training opportunities
- Company virtual happy hours, free food, and fun team-building activities
- Monthly cell phone stipend
- Access to an innovative mental health support platform that offers personalized care and resources in areas such as: therapy, coaching, and self-guided mindfulness exercises for all covered employees and their covered dependents.
